Brightspark Slings make four types of slings:
The Coorie Pouch Sling
Coorie is the old Scots word for cuddle or snuggle and these fleece pouch slings are perfect to snuggle up with your little one. Available in five sizes, they are worn diagonally across the body and baby sits in the pouch in front. This is a very easy sling to wear and ideal for babies and toddlers alike. Parents of babies love the Coorie pouch sling for it’s secure cradling of their baby, while toddlers’ parents find the ease with which their little one can get in and out of the pouch really helpful. As it is a non-adjustable sling, please make sure you order the correct size by checking the measurement table on our measuring and wearing page. The sling is made to fit the wearer and not the baby so one sling will see you from birth through to toddlerhood
This sling is made from polar fleece which has a bit of ‘give’ in it making in incredibly comfortable for the wearer and the baby.

The Kimmer
Cotton Padded Pouch Sling
Kimmer is the old Scots word for a mother's helper or Godmother and this sling is bound to help you and your baby get about more easily! This sling is available in five sizes and is worn in exactly the same way as our popular Coorie Pouch Sling. The Kimmer has a 100% cotton outer and 100% organic cotton inner, it benefits from a gently padded leg rail which makes it incredibly comfortable for babies who wear their legs out of the pouch.
The Kimmer is suitable from birth until well into toddlerhood (approx 35lbs). As this is a non-adjustable pouch, please check the measurement table on our measuring and wearing page to ensure you order the correct size.
This is a great pouch for summer as the cotton fabric does not conduct heat.

The Peerie Pouch Sling
Peerie is the Old Scots word for tiny or small and the Peerie sling is small enough to fit in your pocket or bag. This sling is available in five sizes and is non-adjustable so please refer to the sizing table on our measuring and wearing page to ensure you order the correct size.
The Peerie is suitable from birth to toddlerhood and is invaluable as a ‘mad dash’ or ‘keep in the car/handbag’ sling.
If you are looking for a ‘wear all day’ sling, you will find the Kimmer or Coorie more suitable but everyone needs at least one Peerie!

The Cuddie Ring Sling
Cuddie is the old Scots word for donkey. The Cuddie ring sling is adjustable by pulling the cotton fabric ‘tail’ through a set of safety tested aluminium sling rings. This ensures a really snug fit around your baby and an adaptable sling for all stages of babyhood. Many mothers find this is an excellent sling for breastfeeding as it can be adjusted very easily – this helps to give a little privacy to women who feel uncomfortable feeding in public.
